It’s all getting rather spooky at Alderford Lake with a drive in cinema and Halloween events for kids of all ages (and event an over 16s Nightmare Island too)
Witchcraft Woods – 26th – 31st October
Do you have a budding witch or wizard in your family? Discover your inner magic at Alderford’s Witchcraft Wood’s Halloween Event.
Your budding witches and wizards are invited to Alderford’s school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, to learn the boundless limits of their own abilities. Upon arrival, a wand will be chosen, with the opportunity to let their imagination run wild in a magical crafting workshop.
Into the future you will see, through the creation of a magical crystal ball. They will learn the art of witchcraft and cast your own spells in a 1 hour crafting session.
Spooky Island – 25th to 27th October
8- 13 year olds
A spooky experience speckled with small frights for older children and not-so-brave adults! With a maze that will have you running for the hills. Well, that’s if you can find your way out! Making your way to the island, you will be met by some unexpected twists and turns and don’t forget those pesky prisoners!
Nightmare Island – 25th to 27th October
Where can those who are kept hidden from the world be found? And what measure are taken to keep them in? Do you dare to find out? Nightmare Island is a scare attraction not for the faint hearted.
