Halloween & Half Term Trails in Berkshire

There are lots of pumpkin, scarecrow, Autumn and Halloween trails in Berkshire going over over half term. Lots of them are low cost and many raise money to support local charities. Best of all they get us out the house with a little added extra fun, great as an October half term activity with kids in Berkshire.
Hallcourt Farm (Midgham, West Berkshire) select dates from 14th October
Find your perfect pumpkin and explore the Wild Woodland trail with Halloween surprises along the way. There will also be pumpkin carving and tasty treats in the barn.
Mortimer scarecrow trail (Mortimer) 21st – 29th October
The ever-popular Mortimer Scarecrow Trail is back this October Half Term! This year’s theme is Sing-a-Song of Scarecrows. From Children’s Rhymes to Rock’n’Roll, Disney to Bollywood, we want you to bring the music to Mortimer this Autumn.
Binfield Scarecrow Trail (Binfield near Bracknell) 21st – 29th October
There are 50 scarecrows to find on the Binfield Scarecrow Trail! The maps cost £3 each and are available from either The Foxes’ Den, Daphne’s Coffee Shop or Binfield Village Stores on the days the hunt is open.
St Michael’s School scarecrow trail (Sunninghill) 23rd – 29th October
This is a real community event and a great October half term family activity.
Spencers Wood & Three Mile Cross Halloween Trail (Spencers Wood near Reading) 23rd – 31st October
The now Annual Spencers Wood and Three Mile Cross Halloween Trail consists of an array of Scarecrows and Decorated Houses.
Wasing Pumpkin Event (Aldermaston) 20th – 29th October
At the heart of the stunning Wasing Estate lies a very special pumpkin patch. Follow the enchanting decorated trail through Wasing‘s stunning autumnal woodland then head for the pumpkin patch where a fairytale pumpkin carriage awaits. They have a maize maze too.
Terror Trail at Black Park (Wexham) 23rd – 27th October
Why not come dressed up and see if you can find all the hidden characters in the woods! There will be lots to see, from Frankenstein’s Monster to a colony of giant bats! Are you brave enough to take on The Terror Trail? Arm yourself with our trusty map and you will safely make it through the haunted woods!
