May Half Term Big Bale Play at High Lodge Farm
25 May - 2 June
Scramble, jump, climb – Big Bale Play is back for May half term at High Lodge Farm.
High Lodge Farm will become a giant pop-up playground during May half-term made up of hundreds of straw bales – and it promises to be even bigger and better than last year!
The main play maze will be perfect for children aged 5 – 12 and there will also be a mini bale play area for under 5s. The trusty tractor will be back too, as well as the sandpit and wooden board games.
@redkitedays Ad STRAW BALE MAZE ON AN EPIC SCALE Big Bale Play is back at High Lodge Farm for half term. We were on holiday last year this this was our first experience of the bale maze in all it’s glory. Going to High Lodge Farm is kind of like having a farmer friend who invites you over. It’s simple, down to earth and kids can just be kids. It’s exactly how it looks – a huge big bale maze with different leveles, routes and tunnels. What I loved is that my kids just ran off, made friends and raced around. Lots of games going on – hide & seek, tig, sardines – just wholesome fun without screens. There are big board games set up, too. We stayed until the end of the day and the only struggle which all the parents seemed to be having was getting kids to leave. Mine took great delight in running off and hiding! – Daytime sessions for up to age 12 – Separate under 5 areas with mini maze & sandpit and it’s fenced so no big kids running in – Plenty of yummy food & drink options with covered picnic benches Got bigger kids? They’re doing sunset sessions for up to 16s, Friday May 31 and Saturday June 1st SEN sessions for quieter session Monday May 27th and Saturday June 1st Tickets are non-refundable, but if you set up an account when booking, you can move the date and time free of charge if your plans change. #runwildmychild #letthemplay #highlodgefarm #strawbalemaze #bigbaleplay #oxfordshire #mumtok #mumofboys #southoxfordshire #abingdonmums #funonthefarm ♬ Stargazing – Myles Smith
