Bigger is not always better and the wonderful The Theatre Chipping Norton really are the Oxfordshire masters when it comes to putting on a panto.  A small and intimate theatre, you really feel immersed and every seat is a good seat.  They were ranked nationally as one of the must see pantos  by The Telegraph who described them as ‘one of the dinkiest and most warmly enjoyable pantos in the land!’ – The Telegraph 2019

This year they’re back with Rapunzel, another fabulous panto and I’ll definitely be going along with my boys.

Rapunzel has been stuck in a castle tower for eighteen years, imprisoned by a witch’s magical powers. But she’s not the sort of girl to let that defeat her! With the help of her Nanny, a charming yet cheeky Prince, and an awful lot of hair, she’s going to escape into the big wide world.

Knights and maidens, sword fights and sea-storms, sweeties and singalongs – this joyful reimagining of the classic tale has it all!
