School Uniform Pop-up Shop at Castle Quay, Banbury
27 July @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeThe school uniform pop-up shop returns to Castle Quay in Banbury on Saturday, July 27th. This initiative encourages parents to donate usable school uniforms and redistributes them to families in the Oxfordshire community.
Families are invited to drop off clean, wearable school clothes at the Customer Service Desk near Lock29 from now until Friday, July 26th. Donation containers will be available from 10 am – 5 pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10 am – 4:30 pm on Sundays. The more items donated, the greater the selection at the pop-up shop for families to enjoy. Donations ensure a fantastic variety of uniforms for everyone on the big day.
The pop-up shop, where anyone can pick up the needed uniforms, will be open from 11 am – 4 pm on Saturday, July 27th. It will be located opposite the Nothing But Footprints store. This is a no-cost event, but donations are welcome. All contributions will support The Sunshine Centre and Banbury Uniform Exchange, offering invaluable help and support to families in the Banbury community.
Any items not picked up will be donated to the Banbury Uniform Exchange, a project providing free sustainable uniforms. Castle Quay’s one-off event complements the ongoing efforts of the Banbury Uniform Exchange, which continues its weekly service at Hanwell Fields Community Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 12 pm.
Castle Quay will accept branded and non-branded items in good, wearable condition, including:
- School jumpers, cardigans, and blazers
- School polo t-shirts, shirts, ties, and blouses
- School skirts, trousers, and shorts
- School PE kits, tops, and shorts
- School shoes and PE trainers
- School coats
