Find when all the Christmas lights are being switched on across Buckinghamshire in 2023.  Many of the events combine with a visit a Santa’s grotto, food stalls and lots more fun.

Christmas Lights Switch On in Bucks 2023

Friday 17th November

• Chesham Christmas lights will be switch on during a fun filled evening for all the family.

Saturday 18th November

• Milton Keynes Christmas lights switch on will involve lots of festive fun, dance and singing performances, a visit from Santa plus lasers, fireworks and more!

Thursday 23rd November

• Marlow Christmas lights will have stilt walkers and nutcracker soldiers to get your in the festive mood before the Christmas lights switch on at 6:30pm
• Buckingham Christmas lights switch on will also have carol singing to get you in the festive mood and lots of Christmas market stalls.

Friday 24th November

• Gerrards Cross Christmas Extravaganza will be full of entertainment and the switch on of the Christmas lights for the festive season.

Saturday 25th November

• Princes Risborough Christmas lights switch on is a festive & fun event for all the family. You can expect an afternoon filled with live performances from local acts, themed roaming street characters, festive food and drink vendors, and opportunities to ice skate, meet Santa, and get a bit of early Christmas shopping
• High Wycombe Christmas Lights Festival will have music, food, a funfair and more for the whole family to enjoy.
• Newport Pagnell Christmas lights
• Brackley lantern parade and Christmas lights switch on.

Sunday 26th November

• Aylesbury Christmas lights switch on will be part of large Christmas on the Cobbles event. Come dusk, Market Square will be illuminated by a merry and bright light parade. Christmas lights get switched on at 6pm. Fireworks will bring Christmas on the Cobbles to a spectacular end.

Thursday 30th November

• Winslow Christmas Fair and lights switch on (Winslow) 30th Nov FREE

Saturday 2nd December

• Chalfont St Giles will be lighting up with their Christmas lights turning on at the village green.
• Stony Stratford Christmas lights switch on and family fun day is packed with entertainment and activities including a lantern parade.
• Wendover Christmas lights will be switched on at the Christmas Celebration on Manor Waste.
• Amersham Christmas Festival

Wednesday 6th December

• Beaconsfield Festival of Lights brings you aparade, stalls and entertainment LIVE on the night, as well as an appearance from Father Christmas
