The Ruby Play Cafe in Camberley has been designed with both parent and child in mind. As a parent you can see your child at all times no matter where they are which is ideal if you have two little ones. Perfect for children too as they have the freedom to explore and free play but know that you’re close by.
** The Ruby Play Cafe last day in Camberley is 20th September and they’re moving to Sandhurst in October. Exact dates to be confirmed**
Set in the middle of the room are plenty of tables and chairs where you can sit and relax with a refreshment from the on-site cafe. The little ones can play safely around you and explore at their own leisure.
It’s great to have the different role play sections around the outside of the room so you always have a view of where they are and they are secure as the gate is locked upon arrival.
Noah loved playing in the garden section where he could pretend cooking on the bbq or mowing the lawn. The cute little play shed was a huge hit with Isabella who loved popping her head out of the window and chilling on the seat.
For non walkers there was a separate area which was enclosed with a picket fence and meant that the little ones had their own area of play mats, interactive toys, dens and other sensory activities to keep them occupied without the worry of older children being there.
The role play areas were great as Noah could be working on a construction building towers, hammering on the work bench and using the ride on toys to get around the cafe.
The supermarket was great as we could learn about the different foods whilst placing them in the trolley, and do some role play whilst practising making our food.
From a hair salon to a vets to a stage there was a lot to captivate the little ones imagination and although there was lots of playing involved all of there senses were used in this session. For me the added bonus was being able to relax and see both little ones enjoying themselves safely.
Great little cafe and role playing centre for children.
