Steeple Aston has a lovely mid sized play park with a good range of equipment for younger and older kids. It’s mostly wooden with lots of bark chips on the ground to soften any landings.
We visited for the first time on a beautiful sunny day and my boys were really excited when they saw the park. There are two enclosed areas and then a wider more open area. The first enclosed area is perfect for little ones. It has a couple of baby swings, climbing equipment with raised and covered sandpit and slide to exit as well as a well loved train for imaginative games.
The second fenced area of the park is great for slightly older kids who want to stretch their climbing capabilities. The equipment is a bit larger and lots of fun.
Something I loved on a hot sunny day was the area nestled under mature trees, with a zip wire, tunnel, climbing frame and curly twisty slide. There are a couple of picnic tables too.
There are a couple of car parks right next to the park on either side of the village hall which are free of charge.
